1 to 1 Training Programme (New)
We offer personalized training sessions, including in-person and online video options. Each two-hour session addresses specific issues such as obedience, leash manners, socialization, and behavior modification, including aggression and anxiety. Sessions are tailored to benefit both the dog and the owner, with follow-up support and ongoing access to trainers.

Obedience Training (Residential)
For all dog breeds, of all ages including puppies. We provide a number of Training Programmes for all dog breeds. We can train your dog starting from basic obedience to advanced obedience and control.
We have our own in-house Full Time Veterinary Nurse based at our Training Centre to insure the health of our clients dogs. (€450 Deposit required to secure your dates & booking; Please Note: We have increased our prices since 17th April 2024. Booking Deposits are non refundable.)

We offer a structured daily program for residential dog training, suitable for all breeds and ages. We can tailor the training course to suit your exact needs and focus on what you require. All of our training is all based on positive reinforcement. It is very simple message really - get your dog to do what you want because they enjoy doing it, not because they have to do it.

Protection / Home Guardian Courses (Residential)
With rising crime rates, our Protection/ Home Guardian Course trains your dog to guard your home and deter intruders. Suitable for dogs of all breeds and levels, this program also includes obedience training.

- Can I visit my dog while he is in Residential Training at K9 Security Ireland?
We do not recommend visits during residential training. This helps prevent your dog from becoming confused or anxious, thinking each visit means they are going home. However, if you really want to, we can accommodate it. You will receive regular updates about your dog’s progress, routine, feeding, and training. - What would his daily routine be?
Your dog’s daily routine includes a morning walk, eight training sessions, playtime, and rubs to ensure their well-being. They will train around other dogs to aid socialization and receive regular meals. After a busy day, your dog will get a good rest to recharge for the next day. - What do I need to do after I have booked my dog in with K9 Security Ireland?
After booking, you can expect an email or call confirming the details. Please ensure all required paperwork and vaccinations are up to date. Watch our video here for a detailed overview of the next steps. - Do you have specific breeds or ages that you train?
We train dogs of all breeds, ages, and issues. Our training programs are customised to address each dog's unique needs and problems, ensuring effective results regardless of their background. - Will I be able to maintain the results of my dog's training at home?
Yes, we provide a comprehensive walkthrough on the day you collect your dog. During this 1-on-1 session, our trainers will teach you how to continue reinforcing your dog’s training at home to maintain and build upon the progress made.
